These actions are great for showing off your art or photography in different settings. If you have any problems or suggestions, let me know below! These are great if you need to show something off quickly, or just want to have a look through and see how the effects were created.

To make sure the actions run properly, you should open the image you want to use in a completely new file so there isn't anything else there to interfere or mess up. Once the actions have run you'll be left with a folder with the layers in if you want to change any of the effects, and a flattened image on top that can be copied/pasted wherever you need it!

These work best on smaller images (<1000px) - they can be used on larger images but you may need to do some cleaning up afterwards to make them look nicer!

Fancy Poster

This action turns your image into a poster on a wall, slightly raised at the bottom with a nice spotlight and realistic shadows - it may not work on versions below CS6

To use this action, simply open up an image, making sure it's the Background Layer, and run the action!

Simple Poster

This is a simpler version of the Fancy poster action, without a spotlight and a more stylised shadow. It should work fine on older versions of Photoshop!

To use this action, simply open up an image, making sure it's the Background Layer, and run the action!

Magazine

This creates a stylised flat image of a book or magazine (or whatever you want!). It works best with portrait images - things may get a little wonky if you use landscape images.

To use this action, make sure your file has 2 layers in it - the Background layer and one named Layer 2 (watch the caps!). Both layers should be cropped to the same size as the image, and it works best with portrait images!

Magazine - Flat

This creates a magazine similar to the above action, but this time it's lying down! It works best with portrait images - things may get a little wonky if you use landscape images.

In way of a disclaimer - These were made in my personal time and I'm not dedicated to making sure they work perfectly. Things may go wrong and I'm not responsible if they do!
